Accra-Ring Road Central had a busy Rotary year — one built on the same idea that has carried the club since 1995: show up, and do the work. On the health front, the club partnered with the Rotaract Club of Tema-Meridian and eight other Rotary and Rotaract clubs across Districts 9104 and 9103 for the Hewale Medical Outreach in Tema, running a general health screening and disease-prevention campaign in response to Ghana Health Service data on late disease detection in Accra Metropolis. A similar effort in Mamfe, alongside the Rotary Club of Akuapim-Ridge and the Rotaract E-Club of Ghana, brought sensitization, examination, and counselling to over 500 residents. On education, the Tech and Tales Digital Library Hub refurbished an ICT facility with Aminu Initiatives in Nima, stocked library shelves, and donated 20 desk-mounted computers — while a Poetry Challenge and Writing Clinic with the Interact Club of Accra Girls nurtured young writing talent and connected standout performers with mentors. None of it happens without the people behind it — members who show up to plan on weeknights and serve on weekends. That's the story RRC keeps telling: fellowship that turns into action.
