Akateng, in Upper Manya Krobo District, shares a boundary with the Volta Lake. Seasonal water elevation puts daily river commuters at risk. Aligned with SDG 3 and 11, we trained residents on safety, fundraised for life jackets, and ran a clean-up and fumigation exercise to reduce malaria prevalence.
